... this holiday season is going to be so busy for you! Doctor Who, Legend of the Seeker, Transformers, Iron Man, that other show you said you have downloaded *ahem* hahaha I'm so amused. In the least, we must marathon something together... I don't care what show, but something! =D!

It's really good if you like the "Lord of the Rings" style, epic stuff. It's scale is huge and the scenery is stunning. Plus, all the magic and wizardy stuff is awesome too! And the girl's clothes are SUPER pretty.

interesting, I've never ever heard of it before it started popping up all over my flist and your reasons sound as good as any to give it a go! Thanks =)

I'd rec it definitely. I am loving the show. Let see, fantasy, wizards, a gorgeous young hero, a beautiful girl (hello great new ship), humour, slight cheese factor...
If you love Merlin you'll like this show for sure.

I think I'm going to check it out at some stage but I really don't like the books it's based off, so! CONUNDRUM.

ooh interesting. Well, considering how infrequently book to movie/tv-show actually remain true to their origins, I'd hazard a guess and say you're likely in for something different? But who knows, maybe they'll strive to remain true in this case.

Maybe I should seek out the books first. *ho-hum*

It definitely sounds like they've changed it somewhat. But the books (which are really quite violent, I can't see them putting half the scenes on TV because they'd get banned) irritate me because they always save the world BUT at the same time create another problem, and after four books of this I got too annoyed to keep reading and had to stop. (It's the Sword of Truth series, if you're wondering.) I definitely plan to try out Legend of the Seeker at some stage, but it's not high on my list of priorities, y'know?
